I
graduated from The Chemistry Department of Warsaw University
in Poland. During my studies I became aware of both the convenience
and the dangers of chemical substances. I realized that not
only the food we eat, the air we breathe but also the products
we put on our skin affects our health. Always fascinated by
Nature and its power, I slowly turned towards natural products,
foods and remedies.
In summer 1999 I qualified as a professional aromatherapist
from The School of Holistic Aromatherapy
in London. When studying aromatherapy I contributed to my
Teacher's, Ms Nicole Perez, book - 'The Aromatherapy Workshop'
- by putting together various tables on chemical constituents
of essential oils. The book was published in 2000 and has
very good reviews.
I find great pleasure in helping and healing people and I
will continue to update my skills to benefit them even more.
Committed to a life long policy of learning, I have already
added Indian Head Massage
and Bach Flower Remedies to
my qualifications and have plans for future studies.
Teaching
has always been an important and much enjoyed part of my life
- I used to teach chemistry at a secondary school. In February
2002 International Federation of Aromatherapists recognised
my teaching qualifications and I became an assistant teacher
at The School of
Holistic Aromatherapy.
I
am a full member of The International Federation of Aromatherapists
(the longest established international organisation for professional
aromatherapists) and I comply with the IFA Code of Ethics
and Code of Practice. Iam also AOC and NHS registered.
