The Treatment

The treatment - massage - is carried out to the upper back, across the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face, with the client remaining fully clothed and seated on the ordinary 'everyday' chair. Some of the movements are slow and gentle, some more vigorous but never painful.

Indian Head Massage is non-invasive so it can be done anywhere - for example at your work place!

As an aromatherapist I gladly use blends of carefully chosen essential oils on the scalp or face but it is optional. Oil that is applied to the scalp is easily absorbed into the roots of the hair. There are several oils, which may be used for the Indian Head Massage to strengthen the hair, remove dryness, etc.

Hand made aromatherapeutic hair products can be made for you to use at home.
